Desert Eagle Heat Treated Blue Gems and Prices

Every tracked Desert Eagle Heat Treated Blue Gem seed across three tiers, what seed 490 and the other Tier 1 gems have sold for on CSFloat, and how much wear and stickers move the price.

Heat Treated is the Desert Eagle's version of Case Hardened: a marbled blue, gold and purple finish where the paint seed decides how much blue lands on the visible side. It's far cheaper than the AK, and it trades more often. This site recorded 3,546 Blue Gem sales between 2 May and 19 September 2026, against 901 for every tracked AK-47 Case Hardened group combined.

The best Deagle seed, 490, has sold for $4,200. Most Blue Gem Deagles go for under $60. Here's how the tiers break down, using the groups on the Desert Eagle Heat Treated skin page.

How Heat Treated Blue Gems work

The finish is one large texture, and the seed chooses which slice of it covers the pistol. A few slices put a clean sheet of blue across the slide and frame. Players call those Blue Gems and rank them in tiers by how much blue shows and where. No tier comes from Valve. These lists are this site's judgment, and other trackers move a few seeds up or down. If you've read the AK-47 Case Hardened pattern guide, the idea is the same.

This site tracks three tiers:

  • Tier 1: 69, 148, 490 and 704.
  • Tier 2: 37 seeds.
  • Tier 3: 45 seeds.

Heat Treated prices by tier

GroupSeeds trackedSalesMedian saleHighest sale
Blue Gems Tier 14164$116.68$4,200
Blue Gems Tier 2371,127$56.05$1,325
Blue Gems Tier 3452,255$16.69$985

Each tier roughly halves or thirds the price of the one above. But the highs tell a different story from the medians, and on Tier 1 almost all of the premium belongs to a single seed.

Tier 1 and seed 490

Seed 490 recorded 54 sales with a median of $289.70. The other three Tier 1 seeds had medians of $84.39 (69), $70.69 (704) and $68.38 (148). So a Tier 1 Deagle that isn't 490 trades closer to a good Tier 2 than to 490 itself.

490's top sale was $4,200 for a Factory New copy at 0.0166 float, with no stickers. A second clean Factory New went for $2,999.90. The third Factory New 490, at a float of 0.0080, sold for only $1,111.29, and it carried five stickers including four Antwerp 2022 Holos. It's rare to see stickers on the cheaper side of a comparison, but it happens: an expensive seed with a craft the next buyer doesn't want can sell for less than a clean one.

In lower wears, 490 still holds up. Its 17 Minimal Wear sales had a median of $522.57, Field-Tested $282.33, and even Battle-Scarred copies went for around $99.

Tier 2

Thirty-seven seeds, and the tier with the most variety between seeds. Seeds 723 (83 sales, $76.73 median) and 567 (75 sales, $78.50) trade the most. Seed 324 has the highest median among seeds with a real sales history, $121.50 across 13 sales, which is above three of the four Tier 1 seeds. The group's $1,325 top was seed 308 in Factory New with no stickers, though 308's median over 11 sales is only $59.

A couple of Tier 2 seeds have high medians on very few sales: 772 ($176.86 over 8 sales) and 297 ($321.90 over 4). I wouldn't trust either as a price guide yet. Four sales is not a market.

Tier 3

Tier 3 is the entry point, at a $16.69 median. Seed 882 stands out, with 89 sales, a $31.83 median and a $985 top. Seed 953 has a $950 top but a $17.64 median, so that high is one unusual copy, not the seed's usual price.

Wear moves the price more than you'd guess

Non-StatTrak medians by wear:

WearTier 1Tier 2Tier 3
Factory New$1,111.29$312.37$86.99
Minimal Wear$499.90$100.00$27.00
Field-Tested$220.41$58.67$16.15
Well-Worn$78.19$38.00$11.11
Battle-Scarred$55.00$26.84$8.50

The Tier 1 Factory New figure rests on just five sales, so treat it loosely. The pattern across all three tiers is clear, though. A Minimal Wear Blue Gem sells for roughly double a Field-Tested one, and Factory New roughly triples Minimal Wear. A Minimal Wear Tier 3 ($27) costs about half a Field-Tested Tier 2 ($58.67). Float values explained goes into why the brackets split like this.

Stickers are common on Heat Treated Deagles

About 29% of the tracked Blue Gem sales had at least one sticker. That's a lot more than on the AK-47 Aphrodite, where it's about 16%. Before you use a high sale to price your own Deagle, open the group page and check whether the stickers or the seed set that number. How stickers affect skin prices covers how to read a stickered sale.

Is a Heat Treated Blue Gem worth it?

For a Blue Gem you can actually afford, yes. A Tier 3 costs less than $20 in Field-Tested, and a Minimal Wear Tier 2 around $100. For collectors, 490 is the seed with a real, repeated premium. The other Tier 1 seeds are nice pistols priced like strong Tier 2s, so don't pay 490 money for them.

Steam Market can't help you here. It blends 490 with every other Deagle Heat Treated seed in the same wear (why that's a problem). Price by tier and by seed instead.
