AK-47 Case Hardened Patterns and Prices
Every tracked AK-47 Case Hardened pattern group, from Tier 1 Blue Gems to Blue Mag and Gold Gems, with the seeds in each and what they've actually sold for on CSFloat.
The AK-47 Case Hardened has 1,001 possible pattern seeds, and the seed decides almost everything about the price. A regular one trades like any other mid-tier AK skin. The seven best sell for thousands of dollars, sometimes tens of thousands.
This guide covers every pattern group tracked for the skin on the AK-47 Case Hardened page: which seeds belong to each group and what they've sold for. Each group links to its own page with the full sale history.
Why the seed matters so much
Case Hardened is cut from one big marbled texture of blue, gold and purple. The pattern index (the seed) picks which slice of that texture lands on the gun. Most slices are a muddy mix. A few put a clean sheet of blue across the receiver on the side you see when you hold it, and those are the Blue Gems.
Valve doesn't rank any of this. The tiers came from players comparing screenshots for years, and trackers still disagree about where a few seeds belong. The groups below are this site's own lists. If you want the background on seeds first, read what a CS2 pattern index is.

| Group | Seeds tracked | Sales | Median sale | Highest sale |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Gems Tier 1 | 7 | 29 | $4,368 | $26,750 |
| Blue Gems Tier 2 | 6 | 42 | $1,016 | $4,851 |
| Blue Gems Tier 3 | 37 | 296 | $600 | $10,995 |
| Blue Gems Tier 4 | 81 | 467 | $345 | $2,954 |
| Blue Mag | 14 | 41 | $455 | $1,790 |
| Gold Gems Tier 1 | 2 | 12 | $464 | $1,300 |
| Gold Gems Tier 2 | 2 | 14 | $261 | $590 |
Look at the medians before the highs. Almost every "highest sale" in that column is one stickered copy, and it tells you very little about what a typical member of the group goes for.
Blue Gems Tier 1
Seeds 151, 179, 321, 387, 661, 670 and 955. These carry the most blue on the playside, and there are only seven of them.
The $26,750 top sale was pattern 670 in Minimal Wear with four Katowice 2014 Titan stickers on it. A sticker-free Well-Worn 670 sold for $4,200 three months earlier. Same seed, a 6x gap, and most of it is the stickers. Seed 179's $20,810 sale had a Katowice 2014 Titan Holo on it too.
Only three Tier 1 sales in the window had no stickers at all: $8,500 for a Field-Tested 151, $4,200 for the 670, and $2,223 for a Well-Worn 151. That's thin, but it's the honest range for the seed on its own. Seed 661 hasn't recorded a single sale here.
Blue Gems Tier 2
Seeds 4, 13, 168, 429, 592 and 905. Strong blue, but with more gold or purple breaking it up than Tier 1.
Tier 2 trades more than people expect: 42 sales, with seed 13 alone accounting for 14 of them. The eight sticker-free sales had a median of $1,175 and topped out at $1,600. The $4,851 high was a Minimal Wear 592 with Budapest 2025 stickers, including a Team Spirit Gold. Tier 1 vs Tier 2 Blue Gems compares the two tiers in more detail.
Blue Gems Tier 3
Thirty-seven seeds, and the group where most well-known AK Blue Gems sit. Seed 555 is here (13 sales from $1,104 to $4,100, median $1,900), and so are 760, 750 and 442.
The $10,995 top sale is misleading on its own. It was a Factory New 978 with three Katowice 2014 holos, and the median across all eleven 978 sales is only $760. Leave that sale out and Tier 3's spread is much tighter.
Wear moves the price a lot here. Factory New copies had a median of $1,185, Minimal Wear $722, Field-Tested $548, Well-Worn $440 and Battle-Scarred $327. So a Factory New Tier 3 sells for about 3.6x a Battle-Scarred one. The seed gets you into the tier, and the float decides where in it you land. Float values explained has the wear ranges.
Blue Gems Tier 4
Eighty-one seeds and the busiest group on the skin, with 467 sales in under five months. If you want a Blue Gem AK and don't have four figures to spend, you're shopping here.
Battle-Scarred and Well-Worn copies had medians of $204 and $215, and neither sold for under $158. Factory New had a median of $715. One outlier worth knowing: a sticker-free Factory New 809 sold for $2,954, which is more than any sticker-free Tier 3 sale in the same period. Tiers are a guide to coverage, and a top-condition Tier 4 can outsell a worn Tier 3.
Blue Mag
Seeds 29, 147, 153, 164, 306, 464, 502, 579, 587, 704, 716, 761, 806 and 898. On these seeds the blue sits on the magazine rather than the receiver, so they're tracked separately from the Blue Gem tiers.
The median sale was $455, which lands between Tier 3 and Tier 4. The $1,790 top sale was a Factory New 464 carrying four Katowice 2015 Titan Foils. Sticker-free, the best Blue Mag sale was $1,182.
Gold Gems
Gold Gem seeds flip the idea around: gold covers the playside instead of blue. Tier 1 is seeds 219 and 784, and Tier 2 is 473 and 538.
They're far cheaper than Blue Gems. Tier 1 had a median of $464 and Tier 2 $261. Collectors pay for blue on this skin, and gold is a niche taste. The $1,300 Tier 1 high was a Minimal Wear 784 with an MLG Columbus 2016 holo.
Stickers are in most of these prices
Of the 901 AK-47 Case Hardened group sales recorded here, 743 had at least one sticker. That's 82%. Plenty of those are cheap stickers that barely touch the price. But the record sales in almost every group had Katowice 2014 or 2015 stickers, which can be worth more than the gun.
Before using any sale as a comparison, open the pattern page and check the stickers. How stickers affect skin prices explains how to separate the craft from the seed.
Where to go from here
The AK-47 Case Hardened page lists every group with its live prices. From there you can open any seed's own history. The Blue Gem tier guide covers Blue Gems on the Five-SeveN, MAC-10 and knives, and the weapons directory covers every other skin tracked here.
