Check your inventory for rare patterns and charms
How does the CS2 inventory pattern checker work?
Paste a public Steam profile link and we scan your CS2 inventory for pattern seeds that match one of our tracked rare pattern groups, plus charms with a rare color pattern, whether they sit in your inventory or hang on a weapon. Each item's value is estimated from real completed CSFloat cash transactions — not Steam Market wallet prices — for that exact pattern and wear condition.
Not a complete price checker: this tool only checks for rare pattern seeds that have been tracked. It does not account for stickers, StatTrak premiums, or other factors that can affect price. Open a matched item's pattern page for its full sales history.
Your Steam inventory privacy must be set to Public. We only read item data — nothing is stored or traded.
Frequently Asked Questions: CS2 Inventory Pattern Checker
1. What does the CS2 inventory pattern checker do?
Paste a public Steam profile link and it scans your CS2 inventory, matches each skin's paint seed (pattern index) against our tracked rare pattern groups, and estimates its value from real completed CSFloat cash sales for that exact pattern and wear condition.
2. Does the inventory checker find rare charms?
Yes. It reads the charm template (pattern 1–100,000) of every tracked charm in your inventory, whether it's a standalone item or hanging on a weapon, and prices it. A charm is only listed as rare when it's worth at least 2× the charm's median sale price across all patterns. Each charm is priced from CSFloat sales of the same pattern. If that exact pattern hasn't sold, it uses the closest sold patterns in the same color range, since prices can change a lot within a range (Die-cast AK #1 is the best gold and sells far above #2000). If no sale falls within 50 patterns of yours, the estimate is marked as rough.
3. Is my Steam inventory data stored?
No. The scan reads your public inventory directly from Steam on each request and nothing is saved to a database — refreshing the page starts a new scan from scratch.
4. How accurate is the price estimate?
It's the average of real completed CSFloat cash sales for that exact pattern index, matched to the item's wear condition where that data exists. It's a market reference, not a guaranteed sale price — stickers, exact float, and demand at time of sale can all move the real price.
5. Why do some of my skins show no price data?
This tool only checks skins that are in our tracked catalog and whose pattern seed falls into a tracked rare group — it doesn't price every skin in CS2. A tracked skin can also fall outside every rare group, or a rare pattern may not yet have a recorded sale at that specific wear.
6. Does my Steam inventory need to be public?
Yes. Steam only exposes inventory contents for profiles with public inventory privacy; private inventories can't be scanned by this or any third-party tool.
